Other Search Features

The Consolidated Real Property Index (CRPI) has other features to help narrow and refine your search for documents recorded at the Wake County Register of Deeds:

Click on any of the links below to understand how better to use these features on the CRPI.

Auto-Suggest: Allows user to see possible name spellings based on user input in the Grantor or Grantee field.

Grantee/Grantor Type: Allows user to specify whether the name entered in the Grantor or Grantee field is a person's name or a non-human entity (i.e. a firm or business). This is specifically useful for finding Restrictive Covenants.

Pending Documents: Allows user to see documents that have been accepted for recording but have not been indexed.

Search Type: Allows user to widen a Grantor or Grantee search to include name variations (e.g. Tailor, Taylor)

Unique Names: Allows users to search registered assumed business names in Wake County.
